PECAN OLD FASHIONED
1.5 oz GLACIER VODKA INFUSED WITH CHAI TEA

1 oz PECAN SYRUP

1/2 DROPPER ORANGE BITTERS

ORANGE TWIST  

add vodka, syrup & bitters to an ice filled shaker or mixing glass. gently shake or stir to chill & dilute. strain into rocks glass. garnish with orange twist.

PECAN SYRUP
1 c CHOPPED PECANS
1 c DARK BROWN SUGAR
1 c WATER 
1 ORANGE 
PINCH OF SALT
1/2 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT

TO MAKE THE SYRUP using a vegetable peeler, remove the zest of half of the orange (if any white pith remains carefully remove with a sharp paring knife) bring water & pecans to a boil over medium-high heat. reduce heat to low, stir in brown sugar, salt & orange peel. simmer 15-20 minutes, remove from heat & stir in vanilla. Let cool, strain & keep refrigerated.
